Mini Trail Guide #44: Tiny hike that encourages movement and breaks
It also has a special spot for a spooky black and white photo opp
This weekend brings some Santa Ana winds which don’t make the air quality or visibility ideal for tiny hikes, so save this one for a clear air day! (Also, be advised that there is a special event scheduled here on November 2nd which will impact your enjoyment/access to this experience — so plan around that!)
I’m not sure if you read my Instagram Stories, but I’ve been having some health issues since June that are hopefully resolved or at least will be greatly improved from an outpatient surgery I had this past Thursday. So that’s why this trail guide is arriving on Saturday this week! Thanks for the extra time to get this out to you.
As far as weekly timelines go, the FREE newsletter usually comes out between Thursday at noon and Friday evening in time for the weekend. And I usually try to follow it up with this PAID mini trail guide add-on/upgrade right after I send the free one. But I do informally give myself a deadline window through Friday to Saturday at noon because these trail guides take extra time to scout and write!
Going forward this fall, I thought it would be fun to pair the 2024 fall tiny hikes with one of the 2023 fall tiny hikes from last year (as an alternative idea each week or so you have 2 hikes to do each week)! Just check the very end of this newsletter for the link to last year’s trail guide.
Trail Guide #44 has built-in motivation for your tiny hiker to keep moving. It will keep you curious, too — and it’s waiting right beyond the paywall below!
