Mini Trail Guide #34: Late spring wildflowers and lake walk
A tiny hike with a long list of wildlife sightings in a short distance
Would you be surprised if I told you there are STILL wildflowers out there! And this week has more than I imagined in all different colors! We saw: white, light lavender, brilliant purple, golden yellow, deep burgundy, and all the colors of the sunset in one bloom.
I feel like I had you giving up on wildflowers and colors about a month ago — but every time we are out scouting hikes the blooms are just AMAZING. This is a prickly pear bloom. Just right off the side of this week’s trail.
Important Note for MONTHLY Subscribers Who Pay 8 Months (8 months = $40): I just informed you last week that it’s not my intention for you to pay much more than an annual subscriber if you stick around for 12 months ($60 if you pay 12 months for a year). So once you hit $40, I will try to automatically comp you for the final 4 months since you will have basically paid the annual subscription fee. I’m going to work to be proactive about this and do it behind-the-scenes as it happens and let you know via a personal email that I’ve made the change.
