Mini Trail Guide #31: Yellow flowers and echoing tunnels to a hill slide with views
Super stroller-friendly walk that's also bike-friendly for kids
Do you ever give up on something before you even start? Because you’ve heard from others that the spot isn’t great? Or that it’s not wild enough or a “real hike” or doesn’t live up to some standard that you eventually realize you don’t even care about?
I like to try something at least once myself before I make up my mind. So, no matter what you’ve heard about today’s Tiny Hike I encourage you to try it out.
Why it might be worth exploring:
It’s off-street so you don’t have to worry about traffic.
For some reason, it’s never really that busy or crowded.
If you are quiet, you can hear so many small songbirds and see hummingbirds zooming from treetop to treetop.
My overwhelming memory of this tiny hike in spring will be brilliant, happy yellow flowers.
It’s free with no parking fees.
You can take your stroller.
There are restroom stops along the way.
