Mini Trail Guide #28: A beach trail with wildlife sightings and wildflowers
Tiny hikes can treat you to surprises in nature!
Every week when I create and send out your trail guide, I think: “This one is my favorite so far!” Seriously. It’s such a gift to be able to write these up for you. Thank you for being my reason to get out there and share afterwards.
The whole time we were exploring this tiny hike, I kept thinking: “See! You don’t have to do any backcountry crazy distances suffering through all sorts of pain to see really cool things and feel connected to nature.”
That’s the whole point of these tiny hikes where you can just get out of your car — and be in a whole other world for 20 minutes to an hour or so. Enough time to reset, connect, observe, and pretty much add some outdoor play to your day. No special gear required — just what you might bring to the playground.
Remember that you are part of a tiny group of Tiny Hikers, so please don’t be shy about reaching out to me to ask questions or share your tiny hiking stories. I love to hear from you!
